Samantha Marie Larson was born in Miami, Florida on March 19th, 2344. She currently holds the rank of Captain within the Federation Starfleet.
History
Larson grew up in lively, suburban Miami. As a child, she would go to the beach at dusk to watch the sun set. She often wondered what else was in the sky.
Delinquency
Larson was a natural-born troublemaker. At age three, she made the replicator in the family room suffer an ODN overload. By age fourteen, she had piloted her father's shuttle through the front of their two-story house.
Academy
Larson's stay at the academy was certainly less than pleasant. She would often get in trouble with the headmasters for sneaking around after-hours and taking campus shuttles out for "joyrides."
Despite this, she earned the respect of her professors and colleagues, and graduated at the top of her class.
U.S.S. Intrepid
Larson was assigned to the U.S.S. Intrepid in 2361, shortly after graduating the academy. She served as relief communications officer.
U.S.S. Malinché
Larson was promoted to full Lieutenant in 2363, and was transferred to the Excelsior-class U.S.S. Malinché. She served as chief operations officer, and served with distinction at her post. Her commanding officer, Captain Jonathan Sanders, promoted her to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and she was transferred to the U.S.S. Enterprise-D in 2367.
U.S.S. Enterprise-D
Larson served aboard the Enterprise as a night officer on the bridge. She was onboard the Enterprise until its destruction in 2370. She was temporarily placed on Starbase 220 before being reassigned to the U.S.S. Bellerophon as executive officer.
U.S.S. Bellerophon
The Bellerophon represents the longest Larson has ever served on a starship. She served under Vice Admiral William Ross from 2371 until 2376. With the war over, Larson was assigned to Starfleet Headquarters until 2380.
U.S.S. Challenger
Larson currently commands the U.S.S. Challenger, a Mark-VI Galaxy-class starship. It is on a five-year mission of colonization and exploration in the Kaillera Expanse.
